Rallye 7 Vallees d' Artois 2015 - Top Selection The first edition of the R7VA was great premiere event. Held in the scenic Artois region just one hour South of Calais, six British entrants figured amongst the competitors entered in the rally. This programme follows the fastest ten cars on eight of the fourteen stages. La première édition du R7VA était grand événement de première. Tenue dans la région Artois pittoresque à seulement une heure au sud de Calais, six participants britanniques figuraient parmi les concurrents inscrits au rallye. 	Rallye 7 Vallees d' Artois 2015 - ES1 Maisoncelle The first stage of the first edition of the R7VA, Maisoncelle, 11.05km, was a closely contested stage with Christophe Costes beating Vincent Poincelet by just 0.3 seconds with Manu Castan just 1.4 seconds off scratch and Charlie Bonsey a further 0.5 seconds behind. The first three in T2 4WD Production were Marion Andrieu, Franck Olaizola and Andrew Sargeant. For T1B, 2WD TT first was Nicholas Larroquet followed by Jérémy Hebert and Julien Coet. La première étape de la première édition de la R7VA, Maisoncelle, 11,05 km, a été une étape très disputée avec Christophe Costes battre Vincent Poincelet par seulement 0,3 secondes avec Manu Castan seulement 1,4 secondes de zéro et Charlie Bonsey encore 0,5 secondes derrière. 	Rallye 7 Vallees d' Artois 2015 - ES2 Auchy les Hesdin The event was fulfilling its promises with many spectators turning out to view the action at the 1st Rallye des 7 Vallees. Stage 2 was no exception as the opening shots in the video will testify. 1st place on the stage was taken by Vincent Poincelet by the merest margin of 0.1 seconds from Manu Castan. Vincent Foucart came in third. Nicolas Larroquet took 2WD honours ahead of Jeremy Hebert and Guillaume Courtillet. In the Production Group Franck Olaizola was first followed by Marion Andrieu and then Andy Sargeant. Not time to get here in time to see the Production 4x4’s so just the TT cars are in the video and photos. L'événement a été remplit ses promesses avec de nombreux spectateurs en passe de voir l'action au 1er Rallye des 7 Vallées. Etape 2 n'a pas fait exception que les coups d'ouverture dans la vidéo viendront témoigner. 1ère place sur la scène a été prise par Vincent Poincelet par la marge moindre de 0,1 secondes de Manu Castan. 	Rallye 7 Vallees d' Artois 2015 - ES4 Maisoncelle The second attempt at the 11.05km Maisoncelle special stage. First through are the production group cars and some punctures are in evidence. Watch out for the two on the left hand side of Andy Sargeant’s Cimes Tractor and also one on the front of Teddy Aubrun’s Cherokee Jeep. Fastest in the Group was Marion Andrieu followed Guy Thompson, then Dominique Deramaix. For the TT Cars Vincent Poincelet took first followed 4.4 seconds later by Manu Castan with Christophe Costes third. The 2WD honours were taken by Nicolas Larroquet, 20.2 seconds clear of Nicolas Martin with Guillaume Courtillet in third place. La deuxième tentative de la spéciale 11,05 km Maisoncelle. Best 2WD was Nicolas Larroquet followed by Nicolas Martin with Guillaume Courtillet in third place. Fastest in Production 4WD was Andy Sargeant, second Guy Thompson and third Dominique Deramaix. 	Rallye 7 Vallees d' Artois 2015 - ES9 Lisbourg Lisbourg, the first stage on Sunday morning, saw the early morning mist clearing as the first cars started. Leading the 4WD Group was Guy Thompson after Andy Sargeant had retired the Cimes Tractor at the end of Saturday following an engine problem thought to be caused by contaminated fuel. Fastest in the Group was Marion Andrieu with Guy Thompson second and Jean Pierre Ducroux third. In the TT Group Christophe Costes was first with Rick Mann second and Vincent Poincelet third. In 2WD Nicolas Larroquet took another win with Stephane Boutet second and Guillaume Courtillet third. Lisbourg, la première étape, le dimanche matin, a vu la brume matinale compensation que les premières voitures ont commencé. En tête du Groupe était 4WD Guy Thompson après Andy Sargeant avait pris sa retraite le Cimes Tracteur à la fin de samedi après un problème de moteur pensé pour être causés par du carburant contaminé. Le plus rapide dans le groupe était Marion Andrieu avec Guy Thompson deuxième et Jean Pierre Ducroux tiers. Dans le TT Groupe Christophe Costes était d'abord avec Rick Mann deuxième et Vincent Poincelet tiers. 	Rallye 7 Vallees d' Artois 2015 - ES11 Azincourt Rick Mann was now well on top form as he took scratch again on stage 11, this time with a margin of 3.6 seconds over Vincent Poincelet. Christophe Costes was third, 7 seconds down. In the 2wd Group Nicolas Larroquet was again fastest and 6th overall with Guillaume Courtillet second and Nicolas Martin third. The order in 4WD Production was Marion Andrieu with Guy Thompson second and Dominique Deramaix third. This video shows the TT Group cars. Rick Mann était maintenant bien en pleine forme comme il a pris de zéro à nouveau sur scène 11, cette fois avec une marge de 3,6 secondes d'avance sur Vincent Poincelet. 	Rallye 7 Vallees d' Artois 2015 - ES12 Lisbourg Not much time to get to this stage for filming so I apologise in advance for the shaky pictures at the start of this report. I was still trying to get into position and set up the camera when Vincent and Julien arrived. Fastest here was again Rick Mann by just 0.7 second ahead of Vincent Poincelet. Charlie Bonsey was third 1.9 seconds down. Nick Larroquet was again 2WD winner followed by Stephane Boutet with Nicolas Martin third. In the 2WD Group Nick Larroquet was again 2WD winner followed by Stephane Boutet with Guillaume Courtillet third. The order in 4WD Production was Marion Andrieu with Guy Thompson second and Jean Pierre Ducroux third. 	Rallye 7 Vallees d' Artois 2015 - Ambricourt Reco' The first edition of the Rallye 7 Vallées d'Artois took place in the pas de Calais on the 31st October and 1st November 2015. Andy Sargeant and myself visited the location beforehand to get a flavour of the area and an idea of the type and content of the stages. Claude and Christophe Gengembre showed us the stages and other important locations and I took the opportunity to record our experience. Claude was happy for me to share the videos I recorded and so this video is the first of a series of six showing each stage. We had to miss a few sections where crops or livestock barred the way but you should get a good idea of what the terrain is all about. The surface is chalk based and drains well so even though it was driven on the hottest day of the year the course will still be good if very wet. For the British this is our closest ever TT Rallye and I hope that fact is reflected in the strength of British entries. For the French it is the most Northern event, the penultimate in the Championship, and will provide another exciting challenge.   Photos from the rally area showing tracks and other features.   This album shows a couple of plans of the HQ area at Auchy with some pictures taken in that area.
	Rallye 7 Vallees d' Artois 2015 - Azincourt Reco' La première édition du Rallye 7 Vallées d'Artois a eu lieu dans le pas de Calais le 31 Octobre et 1er Novembre 2015. Andy Sargeant et moi-même visité l'emplacement à l'avance pour obtenir une saveur de la région et une idée du type et de contenu des étapes. Claude et Christophe Gengembre nous a montré les étapes et d'autres endroits importants et je profite de l'occasion pour enregistrer notre expérience. Claude était heureux pour moi de partager les vidéos que j'enregistrées et donc cette vidéo est la première d'une série de six montrant chaque étape. Nous avons dû rater quelques sections où les cultures ou du bétail barraient le chemin, mais vous devriez avoir une bonne idée de ce que le terrain est tout au sujet. La surface est de la craie repose et drains, si bien que même si elle a été tirée sur le jour le plus chaud de l'année, le cours sera toujours bon si très humide. Pour les Britanniques, c'est notre plus proche jamais TT Rallye et j'espère que fait se reflète dans la force des entrées britanniques. Pour les Français, il est l'événement le plus du Nord, l'avant-dernier dans le championnat, et fournira un autre défi passionnant.
