Gatinais 2015 - Top Selection The rally is held near the Town of Montargis in the Gatinais region about 110km south of Paris. This video shows the fastest ten cars on each of ten of the twelve special stages. There are a few missed cars in the program due to some technical difficulties whilst filming in the persistent and at times very heavy rain. The pictures demonstrate just how difficult it was to negotiate the treacherous muddy tracks. By the end of the rally the first ten finishers in T1 were separated by nearly ten minutes with winner Daniel Favy 49.7 seconds clear of second placed Manu Castan. Favy Pictures from the stages of the 9th Gatinais rally showing Daniel Favy and Laurent Fauconnet earning their highly deserved first place. An event held in very wet conditions and almost continuous rain. Sylvain Omnes and his team are to be congratulated for keeping the event running and remarkably on schedule throughout, despite course modifications on the stages. Of 62 starters just 31 completed the course. Anthony Menanteau and Alex Misbert took first place in Production 4WD in their Jeep Cherokee, 17th place in the General Classification. I will publish the usual stage videos when they are complete but for now these pictures should give a flavour of the event. Apologies for a few shaky pictures. Un événement organisé dans des conditions très humides et de la pluie presque continue. Sylvain Omnes et son équipe doivent être félicités pour garder l'événement en cours d'exécution et remarquablement sur le calendrier tout au long, malgré les modifications de cours sur les stades. Sur les 62 partants seulement 31 ont suivi le cours. Pannes With the rain falling the first stage got under way. It had three modifications to the course but the stage started on time and ran without delays. Fastest on the stage were Daniel Favy & Laurent Fauconnet followed 1.2 seconds slower by Christophe Costes & Mireille Costes. In the 4WD production Group first place went to Anthony Menanteau & Alexis Misbert beating Fabien Darracq & Gautier Lalanne by 9.9 seconds. Best placed 2WD were Guillaume Courtillet & Coralie Blondet in 14th place. Avec la pluie qui tombe la première étape a obtenu en cours. Il avait trois modifications à la cours, mais la scène a commencé à temps et a couru sans retard. Le plus rapide sur la scène étaient Daniel Favy et Laurent Fauconnet suivies 1,2 secondes plus lent par Christophe Costes et Mireille Costes. Dans le groupe de production de 4WD première place est allée à Anthony Menanteau & Alexis Misbert battant Fabien Darracq & Gautier Lalanne par 9,9 secondes. Gatinais 2015 - ES2 St Maurice More mud and rain and a course blockage during the Production cars. Many drivers were getting to grips with the track conditions and the leaders were still driving to the limits. Fastest were Daniel Favy & Laurent Fauconnet leading by 2.5 seconds ahead of Manu Castan & Thierry Pian. Fastest 4x4 Production were Anthony Menanteau & Alexis Misbert 19.8 seconds ahead of Fabien Darracq & Gautier Lalanne. Plus boue et la pluie et un blocage de cours lors de la production voitures. Beaucoup de conducteurs ont été prise en main avec les conditions de piste et les dirigeants étaient encore conduisent aux limites. Ont été le plus rapide Daniel Favy et Laurent Fauconnet mènent de 2,5 secondes d'avance sur Manu Castan et Thierry Pian. Étaient plus rapide 4x4 de production Menanteau & Alexis Anthony Misbert 19,8 secondes devant Fabien Gautier Darracq & Lalanne. Camera & Editing John Hilton |

Gatinais 2015 - ES3 Pannes The mud on the tracks was by now getting quite a challenge in places, especially for the 2WD cars. Daniel Favy & Laurent Fauconnet again took first place, this time with a margin of 4.8 seconds over Alain Perrine & Guilluame Buisson. No production cars in these pictures as I could not in position in time, however fastest in that Group were 302 Anthony Menanteau & Alexis Misbert followed 36.5 seconds later by Fabien Darracq & Gautier Lalanne. Pictured in the thumbnail are Joel Chopin & Hélintzia Flouret-barbe. La boue sur les pistes était en obtenant maintenant tout un défi dans les lieux, en particulier pour les voitures à 2 roues motrices. Daniel Favy et Laurent Fauconnet nouveau pris la première place, cette fois avec une marge de 4,8 secondes d'avance sur Alain Perrine & Guilluame Buisson. Pas de voitures de production dans ces images que je ne pouvais pas en position dans le temps, mais le plus rapide dans ce groupe ont été 302 Anthony Menanteau & Alexis Misbert suivi 36,5 secondes plus tard par Fabien Darracq & Gautier Lalanne. Gatinais 2015 - ES4 St Maurice With a modification to the course at St Maurice I was too late arriving at this location to get all the cars but chaos was soon apparent after my arrival. Alain Perrine was in the ditch and more mayhem was soon to follow. I'll let the pictures tell the story. Avec une modification du parcours à St Maurice, je suis arrivée trop tard à cet endroit pour obtenir toutes les voitures, mais le chaos est vite apparu après mon arrivée. du Gatinais 2015 – ES6 St Maurice This video shows some pictures from the regroup park at Pannes then moves on to ES6, St Maurice, to see the cars on the third attempt of this very wet and muddy special. Fastest here was Thomas Prive followed 6.9s later
by Manu Castan with Christophe Costes in third place. In the 2WD group
Guillaume Cortillet was fist, Bruno Coet second and Daniel Prudhomme
third. In the T2 Production Group first was taken by Franck Olaizola,

with Christophe Costes second and Daniel Favy third. In For the 2WD
class Guillame Courtillet was first followed by Bruno Coet with Julien
Coet in third place.
La première étape, le dimanche a été prise
par Manu Castan avec Christophe Costes deuxième et Daniel Favy
troisième. Dans Pour la classe 2RM Guillaume Courtillet a été suivi par
Bruno Coet avec Julien Coet à la troisième place.

Terres du Gatinais 2015 – ES9 La Champagne
The ground was so wet I had to find hard ground to stand on to take the
pictures. I took up position on this road junction about 3km from the
finish. Manu Castan & Thierry Pian were fastest, Daniel Favy & Laurent
Fauconnet second with Christophe & Mireille Costes third. 2WD honours went to Guillaume Courtillet & Coralie
Blondet followed by Bruno & Charles Coet with Julien Coet & Jeremy
Pawlowski in third place. T2 Production group was won by Franck Olaizola &
Pascal Lucon, Anthony Menanteau & Alexis Misbert were second and Fabien
Darracq & Gautier Lalanne were third. Le sol était tellement humide que je devais trouver un terrain difficile de se tenir debout sur pour prendre les photos. Je pris position sur cette jonction de la route à environ 3 km de l'arrivée. Manu Castan et Thierry Pian étaient le plus rapide, Daniel Favy et Laurent Fauconnet seconde avec Christophe et Mireille Costes troisième.
